- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆My husband and i filled out an application over the weekend to consolidate some debt. Called Monday morning to confirm they received application and they did but needed more information. Was redirected to Eddie and gave him the information that was a repeat of what was already on my application. He said everything looked good and he didn't see a problem with it and would send it off. He said he would get back to me that afternoon or Tuesday morning. By Wednesday afternoon still had not received any word from them. I called again and spoke with andrew who said your application was not approved based on credit. Well we know we had poor credit thats why we applied with springleaf instead of our bank. If this is solely credit based why waste peoples time with an extensive application, high hopes and then cant even call to let them know they were denied. Terrible waste of time. If you have a low credit score you will not get approved. Don't waste your time with this companyBy Kathy W, June 14, 2017
